Traveling to Camp
Travel by Car:
The best practice for travelling with a camper to camp is by car. If you are traveling from a distance and will be making stops, either along the way or overnight, please follow these guidelines:
-
Avoid crowded rest stops.
-
Limit time inside any building.
-
If possible, have the camper wait outside (safely) for someone else to stand in line to order food or drink.
-
Wash hands before and after using the restroom.
-
If staying overnight, limit exposure to others in crowded areas such as the pool, game room, lobby, etc.
-
Eat all meals outside.
-
Wear masks while out of the car.
Travel by Plane:
If you are traveling by plane, please observe the following guidelines:
-
Wear a mask at all times.
-
Avoid contact with people not traveling with you.
-
Minimize time spent inside the airport.
-
Sit apart from other travelers.
-
Wash hands frequently and use hand sanitizer.
-
At this time, the only COVID-free flights we know of are international, but if this is available, please utilize this option.
-
Have COVID-19 PCR test before leaving home and observe all low risk behavior until arrival at camp. Nyoda’s COVID Definitions
-
Arrive in New Jersey (or a short car ride from Nyoda) 3-4 days before Opening Day and monitor for symptoms until Sunday.
-
